whatspastisprologue: This photo shows the Liberty Theater, 507 Ninth Street, N.W. in Washington, D.C.  The Air Mail, released by Paramount Pictures in 1925, starred Warner Baxter, Billie Dove, and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr.  While it was met with critical apathy, the production of the film is rather interesting, with much of it filmed in the ghost town of Rhyolite, Nevada. Sadly only about half of the footage of The Air Mail still exists, and is not available for viewing. (via Atomic Antiques)
