Angels Over Broadway (1940)
Rita is really good and especially cute in this..I recommend to watch it, if you have the chance to. The movie is good too!
“Now listen, Mr O’Brien..” ;)

One of DFJ’s darker films, but still very good. Thomas Mitchell has a marvelous role as a side-kick of sorts.

Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. and Joan Bennett - publicity portrait from the 1940 film Green HellAngry natives or a beautiful widow — which poses the greater threat? Keith Brandon (Douglas Fairbanks Jr.) is an archeologist leading a team of researchers — Richardson (Vincent Price), Loren (Alan Hale), Forrester (George Sanders), and Scott (John Howard) — who are exploring the jungles of South America in search of Inca artifacts. The scientists discover they are not welcome when Richardson is felled by a poisoned dart, and a difficult situation is made all the more complicated when Stephanie (Joan Bennett), Richardson’s wife, appears unannounced to pay her husband a visit. Stephanie must join Brandon’s party as they make their way through the wilderness, with angry and armed natives surrounding them on all sides, and in the midst of the tension and danger, both Brandon and Forrester discover they’re attracted to to Stephanie, leading to a dangerous rivalry among the crew.

Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. and Danielle Darrieux - publicity portrait from the 1938 film The Rage of ParisThis late-30s gem is an engaging spoof that features the U.S. film debut of the French acting beauty Daniell Darrieux. She appears as a French model who’s come to New York to find a job. Things go a little awry in her first interview when she applies for a nude modeling position and gets the addresses mixed up. When she shows up at the wrong place and starts disrobing, the man at the desk (Douglas Fairbanks) thinks she’s a trouble-causing hussy and orders her to leave. Things look up for the frustrated model when she teams up with an ex-actress and a clever waiter who together convince her that as her agents, they’ll be able to make things happen for her. And they do.

My new favorite DFJ film. Full of hilarious one-liners!
